I recently moved to Charlotte and was in desperate need to find a great stylist to touch up my highlights and trim my ends. After reading reviews online I decided to book an appointment with Edward. He did an awesome job taking my blonde highlights the shade lighter that I wanted. He is a lot of fun and I had a great time getting to talk to him. I will definitely be returning! The girl who greeted me at the front desk was also extremely friendly and welcoming. It helped set the tone for my experience as a first time customer. Thank you Salon 1226!

Candice is absolutely awesome! I donated my hair (10 inches) and she made this process so much easier for me! I was really scared about the results, but I love my new cut. I couldn't be in better hands. It is a nice enviroment, very professional but cool at the same time. I love to have a place like this around the corner.

I have been getting my hair cut here by Ace for a little over a year now and I would not trust anyone else. The atmosphere is a 10, the management is a 10, not only do you receive a phenomenal hair cut but you are greeted and taken care of from the time you walk in to the time you leave. GREAT PLACE and GREAT PEOPLE!!! Would recommend anyone to this place.

Emily is amazing!!! I am so happy she's doing my hair. It's perfect. Everybody there is so friendly. I also love how many different stylists got involved with ideas to help get my hair to exactly what I wanted. Everybody seems to genuinely love what they do, and it shows.

Well, found my new Stylist! Jesse Kelly cut and styled my hair and it looks fantastic. He explains what he is doing, welcomes questions and is gentle with your hair. I felt super comfortable having him give me a short, cute cut. Highly recommend!

Salon 1226 is incredibly customer centric. Each person you come in contact with is genuinely friendly. The salon has a great vibe that screams "happy people work here!" The studio is beautiful, clean and welll-stocked with B&b product (nicely displayed I might add). Bottom line. I feel good when I arrive and fan-+tas+tic when I leave! Jesse is one of a kind and works magic with color and cuts/shapes my hair like NO one ever has before.... not even in DC. He is a rare gem for curly haired people that turn into muppets in the southern humidity. You cannot go wrong with this salon or Jesse. I give both 12 stars out of 10.

This salon is the best I've found in Charlotte. Aside from the laid back, chill "Plaza" vibe, the beer/wine to enjoy during your service, and the friendly staff, these people are wicked talented. They don't cut any corners, and they go above and beyond the entire time you're there. Katie made my hair look the best and healthiest it's looked in a very long time. She did amazing highlights and a perfect cut. And bonus...she gave me a great blowout! Love this place.

I just moved to Charlotte in October and I am so lucky to have found this salon shortly after I got here. Allison cuts my hair and she is fantastic. A great stylist and a great personality. The salon has an inviting atmosphere, they play great music and the people at the front are always nice and helpful. Highly recommend

Been going here for almost 2 years, great environment. Even though I have had to switch stylists twice, due to some rotation, the owners always have made it easy and it was never a surprise. Both times they called and let me know. Highly recommended.

So I'm a guy, and before today, I had extremely long hair. It was about middle way down my back. Last time I went to get my hair trimmed, the "master cutter" was not a master, and Literally just made a straight line across my hair when she cut it. It was embarrassing if I'm being honest. So when I decided that I wanted to change my look, I started hunting for a good place to get a haircut, not just a simple cut, but someone who would know what they were doing, and make my hair cut fit me. I searched about every salon in Charlotte, and read all the reviews. After reading some here, I decided this was the place to go. So today we went, and I got my hair cut, and I'm extremely happy with the results. Emily asked me what I wanted, and followed through with it. She took her time, didn't rush anything, and was friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant, the salon is clean, the people are friendly. Do yourself a favor, if you're looking for a good well priced hair cut, I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic Experience! Katie created a whimsical updo for a magical night of Ballroom dancing. She recruited Emily to help a make-up naive girl bring her face to life. They both helped a plain Jane feel comfortable dressing up for the night. ***I highly recommend these two highly-skilled professionals.*** Katie and Emily I am grateful!

Salon 1226 to the rescue! Hands down Ace is the best hair stylist I've ever been to. I've had my haircut in NYC, Miami, Boston and none of those stylist compared. I gave him free reign with some minor parameters and he crushed it! I highly recommend.

I was ecstatic to find a salon that I found to be strict with masking and such, during this pandemic! Sadly, this is not the case where I live in SC. Driving the 1.5hrs to Salon 1126 was well worth all efforts, for my overgrown head of hair

Today was my first visit and I was very impressed with the atmosphere, the services available, reasonable pricing and the awesome staff.
Zoe was my stylist and not only did she take the time to give a thorough consultation, she created a fantastic haircut. She is really cool and fun to talk to!
This is now MY salon lol and have already scheduled my return visit with Zoe.
